AFFILIATE REVENUE SHARE AGREEMENT
This Agreement outlines your revenue-sharing relationship with Community Buying Group (CBG). With this revenue-sharing relationship, you will realize a cash benefit when your CBG-registered members make purchases from the Preferred Supplier Partners listed below.
Your organization’s revenue share will apply in the following percentages for the following suppliers and will be paid annually unless otherwise noted.
|Rent Fast Community||15% of membership spending|
|REIGuard by NREIG Property Insurance|| $1.00 per policy per month|
100 Locations = $1,200 annually
Sunbelt Tool Rental
| .005 of your members spend|
(1/2 of 1 percent) =
Every $1m in spending is $5,000
In order for your revenue share to apply, your organization’s members who purchase goods and services from these CBG Preferred Supplier Partners must register as CBG members under your organization’s Group ID. Member spending will not count if the member is not registered, and no retroactive payment will be made. For as long as the suppliers remain CBG partners, your members will receive all discounts and benefits that each supplier may offer from time to time. Should a contract be terminated with a supplier for any reason at any time, CBG will make reasonable efforts to communicate supplier contract termination(s) to its affiliates. CBG is not liable for affiliates’ lost revenue or damages resulting from a supplier contract termination.
Your annual revenue share during any given year will be paid out during the first quarter of the following year, contingent upon CBG receiving payment of revenue share from one or multiple suppliers.
This Agreement is confidential. Breach of that confidentiality may be cause for membership termination.
Affiliate accounts earning more than $600 from Community Buying Group through revenue share in any given calendar year are required to supply CBG with a taxpayer ID number linked to their account. If an Affiliate does not have an EIN number, a social security number is required.
Community Buying Group encourages U.S.-based Affiliates earning more than $600 a year to obtain an IRS-issued Employer Identification Number (EIN) to input into your CBG account as a taxpayer ID number. If you do not already have an EIN, click here to apply for one through the IRS website. This is a free process. The IRS will either provide your EIN online or mail it to you.
Once you have obtained your EIN, please provide it to Community Buying Group in this nine-digit format: XX-XXXXXXX. This helps to simplify year-end 1099 reporting requirement.
Note: The taxpayer ID number attached to your CBG account must match the payee name on the account. If you are utilizing a business payee name but reporting under an individual social security number, you will need to fax a completed IRS W-9 form to CBG at 816-282-6307. Please include a cover sheet indicating your account name.
If you have questions, call 816-282-6310.
