Any notification that fails to comply with the provisions above may not, in our sole discretion, be considered sufficient notice and may not be deemed to confer upon CBG actual knowledge of facts or circumstances from which infringing material or acts are evident.

  4. Links

CBG offers links to other websites operated by other entities as a convenience to you in the belief that making hyperlinks available to publicly accessible web pages is legally permissible and consistent with the common, customary expectations of those who make use of the Internet. CBG makes no representation regarding the content or accuracy of any website that you may access through the CBG website. CBG does not monitor and is not responsible for the content found on other websites that are linked from this Site. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY RESULTS OR OTHER CONSEQUENCES OF ACCESSING THE WEBSITE AND USING THE CONTENT, AND FOR TAKING ALL NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO ENSURE THAT ANY CONTENT YOU MAY ACCESS, DOWNLOAD, OR OTHERWISE OBTAIN IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR ANY OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. 6. Governing Law, Location, and Miscellaneous

These Legal Terms shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without reference to its choice of law rules. If an applicable law is in conflict with any part of the Legal Terms, the Legal Terms will be deemed modified to conform to the law. Although CBG earns an administrative fee from participating suppliers, CBG is not in a partnership, joint venture, agency, or other business relationship with these suppliers, except as to provide a conduit through which members may access these vendors. CBG shall not be liable for the conduct of any third party with whom you choose to conduct business via this Site.

Your membership benefits and/or discounts with any supplier may change at any time. You will be notified via email of these changes and their implications. CBG is not liable for your loss of benefits and/or discounts at any CBG supplier, nor is CBG liable for their monetary value.

If at the time of registration with Community Buying Group, you currently are participating in another Sherwin-Williams National Accounts Program, you understand that by registering with Community Buying Group and indicating you are interested in the CBG Sherwin-Williams National Account Program, this supersedes your affiliation with any other Sherwin-Williams National Accounts Program. Registering with Community Buying Group allows Community Buying Group to act on your behalf to associate you with Community Buying Group’s Sherwin-Williams National Accounts Program, which may qualify you for additional discounts from Sherwin-Williams.

  10. Limitation of Liability

You understand and acknowledge that CBG, through this website, is performing a service and is not a party to any purchase and/or sale of any goods or services between you and any supplier. YOUR USE OF THE CONTENT OR ANY GOODS OR SERVICES PROCURED FROM A VENDOR THROUGH THIS WEBSITE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. CBG SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH ACCESS TO, USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE CONTENT, GOODS, OR SERVICES (EVEN IF CBG HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES) OR THAT ARISE IN CONNECTION WITH MISTAKES OR OMISSIONS IN, OR DELAYS IN TRANSMISSION OF, INFORMATION TO OR FROM THE USER, ANY FAILURE OF PERFORMANCE, ERROR, OMISSION, INTERRUPTION, DELETION, DEFECT, DELAY IN OPERATION, OR TRANSMISSION OR DELIVERY, COMPUTER VIRUS, COMMUNICATION LINE FAILURE, THEFT, OR DESTRUCTION OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO, ALTERATION OF, OR USE OF RECORDS, PROGRAMS OR FILES, INTERRUPTIONS IN TELECOMMUNICATIONS CONNECTIONS TO THE WEBSITE OR VIRUSES, WHETHER CAUSED IN WHOLE OR IN PART BY NEGLIGENCE, ACTS OF GOD, TELECOMMUNICATIONS FAILURE, THEFT OR DESTRUCTION OF, OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO THE WEBSITE OR THE CONTENT. AFFILIATE REVENUE SHARE AGREEMENT

This Agreement outlines your revenue-sharing relationship with Community Buying Group (CBG). With this revenue-sharing relationship, you will realize a cash benefit when your CBG-registered members make purchases from the Preferred Supplier Partners listed below.

Your organization’s revenue share will apply in the following percentages for the following suppliers and will be paid annually unless otherwise noted.

Supplier Partners:

Revenue Share

Rent Fast Community 15% of membership spending
NREIG Property Insurance $1.00 per policy per month
100 Locations = $1,200 annually
Sherwin-Williams
Sunbelt Tool Rental
 .005 of your members spend
(1/2 of 1 percent) =
Every $1m in spending is $5,000

In order for your revenue share to apply, your organization’s members who purchase goods and services from these CBG Preferred Supplier Partners must register as CBG members under your organization’s Group ID. Member spending will not count if the member is not registered, and no retroactive payment will be made. For as long as the suppliers remain CBG partners, your members will receive all discounts and benefits that each supplier may offer from time to time. Should a contract be terminated with a supplier for any reason at any time, CBG will make reasonable efforts to communicate supplier contract termination(s) to its affiliates. CBG is not liable for affiliates’ lost revenue or damages resulting from a supplier contract termination.

Your annual revenue share during any given year will be paid out during the first quarter of the following year, contingent upon CBG receiving payment of revenue share from one or multiple suppliers.

This Agreement is confidential. Breach of that confidentiality may be cause for membership termination.

Affiliate accounts earning more than $600 from Community Buying Group through revenue share in any given calendar year are required to supply CBG with a taxpayer ID number linked to their account. If an Affiliate does not have an EIN number, a social security number is required.

Tax Information

Community Buying Group encourages U.S.-based Affiliates earning more than $600 a year to obtain an IRS-issued Employer Identification Number (EIN) to input into your CBG account as a taxpayer ID number. If you do not already have an EIN, click here to apply for one through the IRS website. This is a free process. The IRS will either provide your EIN online or mail it to you.

Once you have obtained your EIN, please provide it to Community Buying Group in this nine-digit format: XX-XXXXXXX. This helps to simplify year-end 1099 reporting requirement.

Note: The taxpayer ID number attached to your CBG account must match the payee name on the account. If you are utilizing a business payee name but reporting under an individual social security number, you will need to fax a completed IRS W-9 form to CBG at 816-282-6307. Please include a cover sheet indicating your account name.

If you have questions, call 816-282-6310.
